I take a creative and collaborative approach in my practice, researching techniques and information to help you make the changes you desire. My clinical focus areas include: dating and relationships, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, increasing quality of life, difficult life transitions, self esteem, and stress management. I work with adolescent through adult clients. My main theoretical lenses are cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic theory, and emotionally focused therapy.

I have completed multiple years of training in Emotionally Focused Couples and Indivdual Therapy in Seattle, Chicago, New York, and Portland. Emotionally focused Therapy developed by Dr. Leslie Greenberg, PhD, helps couples seeking greater intimacy, facilitates healing after an affair, and changes negative relational communication problems/cycles.  With this approach, couples communicate their emotions effectively, create an intimate secure bond with each other, and heal from past injuries. I have also studied under Dr. Susan Johnson's, PhD, Emotionally Focused Therapy Center in Seattle, Washington and in New York City. 
I have extensive experience and training working with people struggling with eating problems and weight management.
 I am extremely interested in working with people who are grappling with bulimia, anorexia, binge eating, and compulsive/emotional eating. I address body image and exercise concerns. I also help clients gain insight and develop effective coping mechanisms. I have worked in outpatient, partial day treatment, and a hospitilazation level of care addressing complexities of eating disorders. I work with clients who are trying to develop more balanced, healthier eating patterns and ways to cope with stress more effectively.  I incorporate mindfulness and intuitive eating into therapy, fine-tuning my approach to be catered to each individual client.
